Skodsborg, Denmark. The Sound, Øresund, 19th March, 2018. After a long and late spell of day and night frost and a bitterly cold and strong easterly wind bringing polar and Sibirian cold air to Denmark, it finally seems that spring could be just around the corner. A few centigrades above zero, nearly no wind and now from west, and a spring sun from a clear blue sky lure people and their pets out to take a long pleasant stroll enjoying the melting ice formations along this east coast of Sealand close to Copenhagen. This Burnese Mountain Dog enjoyed rolling in the cooling ice. These and more images are available from Alamy (link).
